Composite panel dimensions and dimensions

We supply composite panels with precise dimensions adapted to the technical requirements of your facade. Dimensional control is key to ensure maximum material utilization and efficient on-site installation.

Metal thickness

The thickness of the metal skins is measured in millimeters (mm) and is decisive for the rigidity of the assembly. Depending on the type of project, the metal may be aluminum, stainless steel, brass, zinc or copper.

  • Exposed face (e1): Exterior sheet with color treatment or technical finish.

  • Unseen side (e2): Inner sheet that ensures the structural stability of the panel.

Panel thickness

The total thickness of the panel is the sum of the outer sheet (e1) + the technical core (PE or FR) + the inner sheet (e2). Standard thicknesses optimize the insulation and mechanical strength of the ventilated facade system.

Panel weight

The weight per square meter is a critical factor in the design of substructures. This varies according to the core and the metal chosen:

  • Maximum lightness: A 3 mm panel with PE core and aluminum sheets starts at 3.8 kg/m².

  • High density: A 4 mm panel with FR core and copper foil can reach 11.09 kg/m².

Minimum and maximum length

We manufacture panels with optimized lengths to reduce machining waste:

  • Minimum: 2000 mm (for technical production reasons, although they can be cut to smaller sizes on request).

  • Maximum: 8000 mm, limited by the dimensions of high precision machining centers.

Standard width

We have a wide range of widths available to adapt to any architectural modulation:

  • Standard: 1000 mm, 1250 mm and 1500 mm.

  • Semi standard: 1575 mm.

  • On request: We can produce any custom width between 900 and 1650 mm ( subject to minimum order).

  • Metalic range: Due to their finishing characteristics, these references are usually manufactured in a single specific width.
