PANELCOMPOSITE00045
  • 2.1 Thickness of metal “e / e ” (mm)

Depending on the type of composite panel, the metal can be aluminum, stainless steel, brass, zinc or copper. It shall be measured in millimeters (mm) and determined by:

a) Thickness of the metal sheet (e ) face side.

b) Thickness of the metal sheet (e ) unseen face

  • 2.2 Panel thickness (mm)

The thickness of the composite panel will be measured in millimeters (mm) and will be determined by the sum of the thickness of the outer metal sheet (e ) + thickness of the core (PE or FR) + 1 thickness of the inner metal sheet (e ).

  • 2.3 Panel weight (kg/m2 )

The weight varies according to the thickness of the panel, the type of core 2 and the metal of its skins, starting from 3.8 kg/m for a 3mm panel with PE core and aluminum foils, up to 11.09 2 kg/m for a 4mm panel with FR core and copper foils.

  • 2.4 Minimum and maximum length “L” (mm)

A minimum manufacturing length of 2000mm is set for technical reasons, with the possibility of obtaining shorter lengths after cutting the panels, and a maximum length of 8000mm due to the dimensions of the machining centers.

  • 2.5 Standard width “H” (mm)

The standard widths for aluminum panels are 1000mm/1250mm/1500mm, with a semi-standard width of 1575mm, and can be produced to minimum order in any width between 900 and 1650mm. In the Metalic range, the fan is normally reduced to a single width.
